And here we go, part 10. ’twas a long ride, but we’ve (almost) reached the end. The full hardsubs will, as always, come later after we did another QC run on it. We’ll also release v2 subfiles then.

It’s August and I finally get to watch the entire show. I wrote a thank you in another section but wanted to repeat it here to stress how thankful I am that you all do these translations for us. I want to thank you guys for all your coding, subbing & translating services. This is a feat. Not only did you get us the translations but you also took time to include the Japanese pop culture reference parts and inside jokes that would have otherwise gotten over many of our heads. So thank you for that. I am an avid Downtown fan and big time into this show since finding out about it on youtube way back in 2009. So thank you again for doing this for us, and I cannot wait for the 2017-18 show to start in a few months.
Are we going to get a v2 of the subtitles before 2018?

They cut out so many parts where they’re just talking so it feels like no one got featured so much.
The drawers were heavily cut and also the oni-tag game.

I appreciate your work guys, you work for free, and there are some people nagging for you to speed up, at least you guys work for free to make us laugh, and you deserve to be thanked for that.
These harsh comments, all of them, probably came from one troll using different handles. Such a shame.
I don’t think that it came from the same person, I’ve seen a lot of hates towards them on facebook this past few days. It’s probably because, it took longer than they thought. Even I thought it would take the whole years to finish it.
7 months of dragging it out for donations. Sad.

True, last year’s Detective Batsu was translated in only 3 months.
thank for the work guys waiting for the hardsub for watching it on my tv. Can’t watch the 1080p RAW file on my tv error says 59fps cannot be read must be in 29fps like the last detective batsu :'(

Where can I find the whole thing together hard subbed? usually, it’s on a page somewhere for the batsu but I can’t find it… the batsu collection page and the more subtitles and videos page is blank for me 🙁 someone send me a link please thank you….
ALSO, thanks, team gaki for your awesome subs seems like a lot of people are ungrateful for what you guys do on your own time….they complain about you milking donations but it’s your right to do so……….

As stated above, the full hardsub file will come after a final QC pass. This is how they do it every year. Check back every few days or so.
The note telling with what 2m is in imperial units is excessive.
Just want to drop off some subtitle error. There’s a part where the gang talked about this object that resembles the colors of “Baikinman.” And there’s this subtitle that goes along the lines of “Is Hamada able to recall,” The letter “I” of the word “IS” right there isn’t visible for the 720 raw/subtitle files. But overall, great work, thanks so much!
